I figured I should make a post like this, since I’ve gotten quite a few messages regarding submissions that were never posted, so this post is for explaining the question of ‘Why wasn’t my submission ever posted?’

Well it could be for a few reasons;

1. No source material. I don’t post a photo if I don’t know where it came from, as this can cause problems/drama with the owner later, plus it’s just rude not to credit.

2. Poor photo quality. Not trying to discriminate against anyone who doesn’t own a particularly nice camera or anything like that, as it is possible to still get lovely photos from those, but it’s not likely that photos taken on camera phones or webcams/are just very blurry/dark/grainy will be accepted.

3. Doll’s Appearance. I feel like I might get some angry messages about this one, but it is my blog and I can refuse any submissions if I don’t like how the doll looks. I am not one to deny a photo just because of a certain doll sculpt or anything, but if the faceup/wig/etc are particularly poor (badly made sock clothing/wall-eyed eye positioning, very poorly done faceup/wigs that look like they were attacked by something/etc), I can refuse it.

4. Submitting too much. I do love that you guys are eager to submit things, but submitting 6+ photos of your own dolls at once just comes off as attention-seeking. If this happens, I’ll normally just queue them up at different times instead of deleting them, unless they have any of the following issues.

5. Overly vulgar content. This hasn’t happened yet, and I’m hoping it won’t, but I figured I’d just mention it as a warning anyway. This is a typically NSFW blog as I don’t mind posting doll nudity or gore mods, but I won’t post anything overly explicit. (example, No, I will not post your two Minifee Shiwoos having sex, no matter how cute you think it is)

But please, don’t let this discourage anyone from submitting photos! I just wanted to post this to clear up any confusion over any un-posted submissions
